CPO/ CEU Workshop

Nationally certified instructor, Dave Peters, shares valuable aquatic information

2009 - 2010 Certified Pool Operator and Aquatic CEU Workshop Information -

IPRA trains and certifieds more aquatic professionals and maintenance individuals in the state of Iowa.  We annually have more than 250 CPO participants and more than 250 Aquatic CEU participants.

Our certified pool operator course is recognized by the Iowa Department of Public Health.  Course materials follow the National Swimming Pool Foundation (www.nspf.org)

The Iowa Department of Public Health requires aquatic professionals and aquatic maintenance persons to have a total of 10.0 CEU credit hours achieved within 5 years. Taking a CEU course does not renew your CPO certification.  The CPO certification and IDPH Aquatic CEU are two separate non-related items.

Program brochure for the CPO and Aquatic CEU Workshop are currently being drafted.  Once completed and approved, information for both programs will be posted to our Web site.
