The Iowa Park and Recreation Association Sports Committee organizes three major events per year. These include: 1) Placekick, Punt, and Pass Youth Football, 2) Spot Shot Youth Basketball, and 3) Adult Volleyball
Placekick, Punt, and Pass Youth Football
Open to boys and girls ages 8 to 13. Boys and girls will compete separately. Age divisions will also compete separately: Ages, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13.
Participants must compete at a local event. First, second, and three place ribbons will be given in each age/gender division. All youth will receive a certificate of participation.
Local age/gender division champions will advance directly to the state finals located in the Bergstrom Indoor Football Practice Facility (ISU).
State finals is Saturday, October 16, 2010.
10:30 a.m. - Ages 8 & 9
12:30 p.m. - Ages 10 & 11
2:30 p.m. - Ages 12 & 13

Spot Shot Youth Basketball

Adult Volleyball
Three adult tournaments are offered each season. Teams do not need to be USA Volleyball sanctioned as this is not a sanctioned tournament. The event is offered for enjoyment as well as light competiveness.
November 2010: Co-ed
January 2011: Men, Women
March 2011: Co-ed
Entry fee is $85.00
